Cuddly babies

I love cuddly babies.  Ryan is not a cuddly baby.  He never stops playing for a rest with Mommy or Daddy.  He runs around all day with a mission to have fun.  He does drink his milk on our lap but that is about a 30 second event.  Ryan had been sick for a week.  Then, he developed a really high fever, 104.5 that hardly went down with medicine for 3 days.  His exam, by Mommy, was "normal" no ear infections and clear lungs.  Finally, yesterday he looked really bad and we took him for a chest x-ray.  He has pneumonia!  Sometimes in little ones you can't hear the pneumonia but it shows up on the x-rays.  What are the chances that the poor boy's first cold would turn to pneumonia?!?  After two doses of antibiotics, today he is already acting more like himself...running around and not cuddly!  Thank goodness for antibiotics!  I came to the conclusion, I would rather my little guy running around than so sick he is cuddly.
